“Salute To Dealers” is a Ford Motor Company initiative that recognizes Dealer Principals who constantly improve the life of those in need while providing outstanding products and services. The nominees and honorees have made a remarkable impact, with each year's group participating in hundreds of causes.

“Salute To Dealers”, now in its eleventh year, is conducted under the guidance of Edsel B. Ford II, grandson of company’s founder Henry Ford and member of Ford’s Board of Directors. This year, 75 exceptional dealers from the US, Canada and for the first time also from Europe were nominated for the 11th annual award. A panel of judges selected 6 honorees out of the nominations. The choice is based on the dealer’s individual activities, length of participation and personal motivation. Among the 6 honorees is Philip Pfohe, owner of Moto-Pfohe group and President of the European Ford Dealer Association. The award is a great testimony of his engagement and commitment in a number of causes in Bulgaria, but also in Germany. Moto-Pfohe Conservation and Environmental Grants held in Bulgaria since 1996 was also a very important argument for his selection.

Philip Pfohe is extremely proud of the honor and shared that this is one of the two reasons for him to be happy with his professional success in 2010. Earlier this year, in June, he has been elected as President of the European Ford Dealer Association. EADF was founded 1989 as a organization to combine pan-European issues which could be discussed between the European dealers and Ford of Europe.

“The target of the EFDA is to discuss mutually with Ford of Europe how to constantly improve the products and the business in order to achieve a higher customer satisfaction, a higher customer loyalty and improve the business for the European Ford dealers and Ford of Europe together” shared Philip Pfohe and added: “Being president of EFDA means increased possibility of our company group to actively participate in important decisions within the Ford Motor Company, always having in mind how to furthermore improve the customer satisfaction of Ford products and services and with this the business.

I am extremely proud of being selected as Honouree for the award “Salute Too Dealers 2011” as this is recognition of mine and my employee’s mutual goal to make the world a better place to live in. Since we all do business, but we are human at first place.”
